Cellar Door Opening
September 6th - The Lazy Ballerina cellar door has been opened. The Hook family was joined by 120 guests to celebrate. Mr Anthony Brookman AM was the guest of honour. Brookman Rd on which the cellar door is located is named after his family.
Tony entertained the other guests with stories of the 1922 'Boy Bushranger,' who robbed and stole on the land our cellar is now built on. James Hook Blogs
Wine Artists
July 20th - The Willunga Hill Art Group was founded in 1987 by Roe Gartlemann and a small group of local artists. This year it turned 21 and wine artists got invloved.
The 21st Annual Almond Blossom Art Exhibition was opened by Lorraine Rosenburg, the Mayor of City of Onkaparinga.
The latest creations from Lazy Ballerina, La Curio, The Good Doctor and Pieri Wines kept the art patrons in good health.
Lazy Ballerina Shiraz Viognier wins Gold!
November 1st - The 2006 Shiraz Viognier was awarded a gold medal at the 2007 McLaren Vale Wineshow. This was the second time a Lazy Ballerina Shiraz Viognier to top its catagory. The 2005 version of the wine had previously also won gold in 2006.
The team at Lazy Ballerina is aiming for a three-peat already polishing up the 2007 Shiraz Viognier aiming to equal the feat its two older siblings.
Lazy Ballerina Shiraz Viognier wins Gold - again!
October 1st - The 2005 Shiraz Viognier was awarded a gold was awarded a Gold Medal at the 2007 Small Winemakers in Stanthorpe in Queensland.
